Whilst it is not possible to redeem AAdvantage Miles on BA across the Atlantic from the USA, there are several North American and Caribbean departure points which are easily reached by LCCs and others, from which AA Flyers might sample the offerings of BA.

You can fly BA transatlantic redeeming you AAdvantage miles for a full award from Bermuda, Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto. Also, there are Caribbean services from Nassau, Bridgetown (Barbados), Grand Cayman, Antigua, Grenada, Tobago, St. Lucia and the Turks and Caicos Islands. You can also earn AAdvantage miles on all these routes to London, but you cannot upgrade on these routes unless you collect and spend your BA Executive Club Miles.
