The airlines are in the work. Specifically, several airlines are in active roles in distributing the vaccine.

The problems are:

1. FAs are no longer nurse (they were in the old past). So they can't administer immunization anymore.

2. Because of the storage restriction, airlines need to use widebodies to transport (as the vaccine are stored in a specialized freezing unit). And not all the U.S. airports can handle a widebody.

I would say, at the moment, the airlines are doing what they can already, i.e. there is nothing further that can be done by the airlines.
