P2 has a 800+ credit score, $100+k income, $40k CL, and is at 3/24. She wants to apply for a CIU. However, she just applied and was approved for a CSP only five days ago. How gutsy would it be for her to apply for the CIU today?
Certainly don’t mean to say “I told you so” but should P2 have applied for CIU
before applying for CSP?

FWIW, 2 cards in 5 days at 3/24 or 4/24 regardless of CPC status does not sound gutsy to me, it's completely reasonable and also prudent in furtherance of point and mile accumulation. Hopefully travel will become easier in the near future and we'll all be able to use our points and miles.
(As you undoubtedly know, opinions are worth what you pay for them and they’re like anal sphincters - everybody has one.)
(BTW, for your recent large purchase, understanding it’s not necessary, did you consider notifying Chase on-line, rather than a phone call?)
