We booked a local transportation to pick us up at LIR and drive to Andaz Papagayo:

$59 one-way (+tip)
We used them 3 times (to and from airport, and from Andaz to El Mangroove hotel).

Van was in new condition, driver was friendly and speaks great english.
Still expensive for a 30 min drive, but better than $130!
