Have you participated in any Citi/AA SUB with Citi credit cards where you used unauthorized bonus offers?

If the answer is yes, then you may need to check your email for a letter shutting down your account. Why I say this is unlikely is that AA was very diligent in informing people that their accounts were being investigated, and from your post, that has not happened.
