This location has been under new management for months and it has been.. disappointing. If you can status match to National or make due elsewhere I recommend it.

I have been renting here for years and each manager would always work with me to assign me a reasonable upgrade (even though a non UC location) based upon availability in their fleet.

With the most recent change in management, even basic inquiries go unanswered and the Gold Kiosk is closed; there are routinely long lines as everyone is forced to use the enclosed 2-desk office and there is no differentiation for Gold customers.

Staff are empowered to sell upgrades. For example, on a recent 2 day rental they had a single BMW X1 left in stock and I inquired about upgrading to it; the front desk quoted $49 / minimum. I pointed out that at a UC location I could routinely rent that vehicle for no additional charge or that previously this location would rent the SLC300 for $20. The response was ‘well, we only have one left!’. Well, upon my return two days later that vehicle had not moved.

Whereas, walk 1 minute down to National they have multiple entry level luxury vehicles available at the base rate and are happy to have the business.

I am loyal to a fault to specific businesses, and this location used to be a shining star for vehicle rentals but I recommend booking elsewhere for the time being.
