Usually if a property wanted to do something for Goodwill they’d add some points. I haven’t heard of a property removing the base rate for 1-2 nights of a multi-night stay. So I thought I’d post why as well.
A stay I had in the 90ˋs at the HR Dead Sea Israel at that time removed all charges (1000$!!) for the entire stay because of a minor complaint. Was Diamond at that time. I believe a 6 night stay. Can‘t recall how the night credits were treated,
Very generous and actually did not expect anything at all... it was a constructive criticism only.... unsure how other hotels treat this today though.
