Angry AAdvantage Account Disappeared Completely??

Went to book a flight this week and apparently my AAdvantage account is completely gone. I have had the account for many years, even updated the address and contact information early last year. Granted, did not fly hardly at all in 2020, but the account has disappeared.

I know what you are thinking....I must have the incorrect number or information. Nope, made sure to verify everything and frankly it's been the same number for years. Even my emails from last year showing all the details, even the AA number. Tried the 'Need AAvantage Number' link and it never sends me an email. Tried the 'Need Password?' link and the website comes back with "Our system is having trouble".

When I called AAdvantage customer service, the rep was very nice, tried looking up my information my account number, name, address, email....NOTHING!! It's as if the account never existed.

Has anyone else experienced this? I know I am not crazy (much) but I hope no one else has gone through this. Questions welcome! MC
