It is an avios/redemption booking.

I would like to rebook dates/move it all the way out to late december, but the preferred return date is more than 355 days away and won't be bookable until sunday/monday (after the scheduled departure date)

Am I stuck? i.e. I need to ask BA to complete the rebooking/new dates prior to this sat night (the scheduled departure date)?

Or can I safely call on Sunday with the ticket number and PNR and rebook, even though this is after the scheduled departure date ?
I doubt BA would accommodate that because you would be over the 1 year ticket validity (1 year from purchase date)... some people have managed to get around the 1 year ticket validity by using the MMB to change date..
