https://www.reuters.com/article/us-h...29A2OH(Reuters) - Airlines flying into the UK will be required to bar passengers from boarding if they do not have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of departure, the Telegraph reported bit.ly/3b6vVLs late on Tuesday.

Every traveller coming into any UK port or airport will be expected to have a negative PCR test to enter the UK as part of a significant toughening of border controls, the report added.
I’m pretty sure Gove struggled to answer such a question on LBC yesterday morning, so there must be some truth in it.

However, like the mask exemption stuff, where the lanyard things can be bought online, the same will happen with this in that the fake PCR certificates will be sold online. I’m guessing it’ll be down to check-in or gate staff to police this? I highly doubt they’ll have time to confirm that the tests are real.

Why not just close the airports to passenger traffic? If we’re to have a lockdown then do it properly.
