I have a related question, and it's probably not worth a new thread -- We've got a combo car seat + stroller with three pieces: 1) the stroller, 2) the car seat base, and 3) the infant car seat (that snaps into the stroller or the car seat base). We plan to push the baby around in the stroller w/ infant car seat, gate check the stroller, and take the infant car seat on board. What should we do with the car seat base -- should check that at the ticket counter for free, and get rid of it?
