I booked flights using a Chase BA 241 and paid the fees with my Chase CC.
I received a $200 statement credit and according to the statement, received 10,545 Avios ("3X Avios British Airways purchase"). These miles were not credited to my Avios account and according to Chase the reason was because I received the $200 credit.

Is this the way it works?
