I have 90k miles expiring 1/30/21. I have read the discussion on the "2 partner challenge" to revive expired miles - seems like a good option. However I have one question about the other option of booking something. Ordinarily, I believe date change on the same route costs $20 USD. If, on Jan 30 I book a flight for Dec 2020 that I hope to take (but obv subject to border policy), what's the latest date I can change it to?

Also, is there a minimum # of pts for IHG transfer?
