I don't have a DUI either, but yikes on even worrying about ANY type of ticket. My reckless I got cuz of someone else (long story - will require a drink to get it out of me ).

Plus cholula (and everyone), in fairness I don't think most folk truly think in advance re: consequences of drink & drive, & I think if they ever truly knew what it all entails - including now not being allowed to visit another country - something that would NEVER occurred to me - they'd be much more careful. I certainly would be!

I think a lot of folk have a drink after work & don't think much of it/think they're ok. Of course there are those who have WAY too much & who shouldn't get behind wheel of car & that's a whole separate story.

BTW - trivia- not related to booze, but study done that found folk who are short on sleep are MORE dangerous than drunk drivers. But short of sleep (short of causing a major accident) doesn't get you the same rap as some of the other stuff.

oldpenny16, assuming I'm let into the country I was planning on getting to airport for departure out at 5:00am for 6:30am flight - enough time? What time do the counters open?

Cheers. Sharon

Edited to add: I thought it was YYZ that was supposed to be mean, not YYR?
