Lufthansa guidance
I'm booked to fly out on Lufthansa from Johannesburg to London soon. As of today, Lufthansa have no information on possible ongoing restrictions for SA travelers. Per their website this morning:
Booked travel date from and including 07 January 2021 from the United Kingdom and from and including 06 January 2021 from South Africa

Lufthansa does not have any information for this period yet. Please continue to check lufthansa.com for possible updates.
I'm taking it that no news is good news but it's pretty unnerving.
