I don't think it could be anymore well put. Personally, I have not been on a plane since Feb 28, previously doing about 150k MQM a year. I will not be "loading up" on the amex at all because personally, I don't value skymiles that much, and would much rather put the spending on my Hyatt card vs get Delta status that currently I have no plans to use any time soon. When balancing things out, I would much rather have a load more Hyatt points to use when this all ends then a load of worthless hard to redeem skypesos.
My Business travel may resume, it may not, but the chances of me re-qualifying for Diamond as its currently defined in 2021 or even 2022 are slim to none.
