Purely for fun I worked out, ok so Excel did the hard work, my maths not being what it once was someone is bound to spot a flaw in my calculations, that at that cost per mile,
Ordinary CC holders would be spending 0.0333333p per BAM (2p divided by 60 BAM)
Taking a journey across the water in First to JFK for example is 150,000 BAM
Therefore 150,000*0.0333333p = 5000p or £50.00
Premium CC Holder would be spending 0.025p per BAM (2p divided by 80 BAM)
Therefore 150,000*0.025p = 3750p or £37.50
This of course doesn’t take into account the fact that you would have to spend £30,050 to be able to use the vouchers (£22,537 premium) and that you would also get the points from the actual purchases, which would lower the actual cost. (I reckon it drops to £44.61 for Ord CCH and £33.45 premium).
I tried doing this calculation with the Palmiers, but 102.18 points per 2 boxes either meant 18p/102.18 assuming a “spend £10 get £2 off “ voucher which unsurprisingly wasn’t as good a deal, (something like £110). Or it was a negative/free with the “spend £15 get £3 off " voucher, assuming you bought 2 boxes per purchase.
