So generally yes you would be able to get a FTV whether your flights get cancelled or not and everything you paid towards the booking (avios, cash, vouchers) would be held on the voucher for use towards a new booking up to Aril 2022.

My only word of caution is for new bookings FTVs are only currently available where travel takes place up to August 2021. This has been extended several times previously, and could be extended again to cover September/October travel. However, this is not certain so for now you wouldn't be able to get a FTV unless this changes.
