The Geek

I know this is a long shot, but I know there are a few BA collectors around these parts. Back in the 1970s my Dad worked for a number of years @ LHR for BOAC as a buyer, and left a couple of years after it merged into BA. When he passed a few years back, we found this flag in the attic. Its dimensions are 53”(135cm) x 111” (282cm)

Was wondering if any of the old hands round these parts knew where it came from? { Did ask somebody once and they said possibly from somewhere called the Speedbird Club. }

Would be curious to know its history if anyone can remember that far back, as never come across it during various trawls of Google images over the last few years.
