I'd say this year is pretty much lost to tourist as well...what with the haphazard way in which vaccines are being rolled out in the "advanced" Western world and Japan (are they even vaccinating yet...haven't heard a thing) and the lack of any meaningful vaccination of the Thai population, I don't see how international travel to Thailand can be allowed to take place. Even with extremely limited inbound travelers, the country is experiencing a second flare-up of virus infections and what will likely soon be another round of lockdowns. I'd be thinking about 2022 as the earliest likely time when tourism may start to return to some semblance of normalcy.
