Introduction This hotel has been open since early 2020. However, do to Covid it seems like it opened just yesterday, The hotel is very quiet.Essentially this hotel has taken the tower floors of the previous Sheraton hotel and turned them into a Marriott with a separate checkin area. At the moment the Sheraton area is walled off an under renovation. I expect the two hotels will share the common spaces which has restaurants, bars, etc.Here is a link to a press release: https://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...300997793.html Check In The check in area is a bit cramped due to the termporary construction wall.I had checked in with the app, but did not get my mobile key automatically, Therefore I still had to stop by reception. This might be by design so that I can confirm that I am exempt from the tourist levy and confirm the Covid rules. It however adds contacts and wastes time. Hope they change this part. I would like to just go directly to the room.I had booked at a corporate rate the cheapest Sheraton room. One day before arrival I received an email confirming that I was rebooked into the Marriott and the rate would be honored.As an Ambassador member I was upgraded to a club junior suite. Room I had booked standard and received much more. The room is incredibly clean and everything is great.The only minor complain that I have is that there are no outlets near the desk, meaning you have to charge your devices elsewhere. There are outlets on the headboard of the bed, if that is your preferred working space.Otherwise the pictures describe the room better than I can. Location The hotel is a short walk over the airbridge and is therefore very convenient for travelers that have an overnight transit or an early morning flight. Service Currently the M Lounge on the 9th floor is closed. They offer table service in a special section of the restaurant until 22:00. I found this to be interesting, since I thought curfew is 21:00. However, I did not try out the service, since I was exhausted.It appears all of the other F&B services are closed.Breakfast is offered in the restaurant. I believe it is take away only, but will try it out in a few minutes. If it turns out that it is better than that, I will come back here and update.I requested services through the app for toiletries. That worked fine. Finally, I did the checkout through the mobile. The invoice was correct and arrived as an email as expected.
