OK .. I must be missing something here, but UA flies a lot out of SEA. Get on a flight and fly them! It's currently October 11th. You have over 2 months to fly 1K miles. Sorry - UA usually comps when you have equal status on another airline. Also, remember - you can only ask and receive one comp per LIFETIME.

I would seriously just take an evening this week and fly SEA-GEG to get the 1K.
