Please re-check your math.
330,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for $2275 works out to 0.0069 per point (less than a penny per point).
It used to be fairly easy to get 1 cent value per Marriott Rewards point, especially when doing a five-night booking -- so I used 1 cent per point as the rule-of-thumb when deciding whether to pay with points or cash.
With the transition to Marriott Bonvoy categories, properties moving up in category since then, and the low-standard-peak structure, getting 1 cent value per Marriott Rewards point is largely history. I now use a rule-of-thumb of 1/2 cent per point.
I still like earning Marriott Bonvoy points through hotel stays and credit card use. I would only buy Marriott Bonvoy points if I needed additional points for a 5-night stay,
