Curious if others think this room is sufficient for getting a view of the Burj Khalifa fireworks at midnight? Does the lounge offer better views (if any at all) or should I try to go for one of the restaurants in the hotel? I know it is a little far away location-wise but I want to avoid being in a crowded area and this was a last minute booking so would be OK with a half decent view from the room.

I'm a lowly Marriott Gold so not expecting any amazing upgrades, but will try asking for a higher floor at least...
I’m here now also, two sides of the hotel have a view of Burj Khalifa - my understanding is the Club Rooms, Deluxe Suites, some Corner Suites and possibly also Vice Presidential Suites all have a Burj Khalifa view. I booked a Deluxe Suite and annoyingly the view is partially blocked by construction of a new building, whereas the cheaper Club Rooms further along the floor will have a better view. I think the best view will be from the Corner Suites on the corner facing Burj Khalifa but doubt there will be any of those left by now! You should have a decent view from a Club Room anyway. The lounge is closed so not an option sadly.
