We went in 2018 on Lufthansa via MUC. The outbound was a red eye on a short haul aircraft. Some things not even BA would dare.
they sort of did via their Franchise BMED. BA used yo fly to exotic places such as: Tbilisi, Almaty, Tashkent. Bishkek, Yerevan, Baku, Ashgabat, Aleppo, Damascus, Addis Abeba, Khartoum, Dakar, Alexandria, Freetown and Morovia.
