As stated by UA
The following purchases earn PQP:
- Base fare + surcharge
- Economy PlusŪ seating or subscriptions
- Preferred seat purchases
- MileagePlus Upgrade Award co-pays
- Paid upgrades on flights operated by United and United Express
- Flights ticketed and operated by our Star AllianceTM partners
However, Gold or higher elites can not purchase E+ subscription (for themselves -- credit goes to the traveler, not the purchaser). The E+ subscription PQPs posts based on purchase data
It is getting a bit late, your only real option is Premier Accelerator (probably pricey at this point) or a trip in the next 24 hours
