With work travel continuing to decline, for the last two years I have relied on TP Runs to get over the line; I guess that qualifies me as a status chaser! Married, and with an eleven y/o daughter, we fly longhaul in J but shorthaul in Y, and that is where silver pays dividends: seat allocation when booking, priority check-in/boarding plus lounge access. I would consider pushing for gold one day, an ex EU to HNL maybe. We all love travelling and having status just makes it that much more enjoyable!
