Just had a flight cancellation that is domestic, next week on Monday with BA
The ticket is via hotline and I was wondering if I would be eligible for compensation? I know the EU directives used to give 250 EUR - would this apply for hotlines and more so after 1st Jan? I can't seem to find my answer on the hotlines T&C saying it would prohibit it

i suspect that BA will say that to keep travel going for essential business to a Tier 4 area where travel is restricted some changes needed to be made short notice which was extenuating circumstances so not eligible to receive EUR 250
