As others have said, they have the right to enter your room as it’s their property. While I have barely traveled since March, we did go upstate (Saratoga NY) this summer for a week and they (Hampton Inn) told us point blank they weren’t coming into the room for housekeeping or basically anything unless there was an emergency (which was fine with us). We either picked up extra towels/shampoo or they left it outside in a bag. So this seems weird in the Covid world we live in.
