I just got a (targeted?) email offering the Grande-Bretagne at €215 a night until Christmas, provided booking is done by 10/15 and check-in is on a Friday or Saturday.

The conditions are 'Limited Time Offer/ Fully Prepaid/Non-Refundable/Non-Changeable', but this is as good a rate as I have seen for this hotel recently.

The G-B is rather more luxurious, and much better located than the I-C, especially for those not wanting to deal with Athens' taxis. However, €115 for the I-C would be a very attractive rate.
