Yes I saw this as I got a joyeux Noël email from the hotel last week. I am sure the name change is all about marketing.

I have stayed here many times as RA and although I think I only once got one of the top floor suites, the rooms that I am generally upgraded to are nice enough. And the breakfast is good. Oh, and it is almost always cheaper than Le Grand. Sometimes like 150 bucks cheaper per night cheaper.

But mostly it is the neighborhood I love. One of the best African restaurants in Paris is nearby and the best Italian restaurant in Paris is also a short walk.
