They have piddle packs, I guess they could try to puke in one if they needed to.
I recall a flight from JNB to KIM in a Dash-8. The turbulence started on climb-out, and continued unabated until we landed. It was of a particularly nasty kind, felt as if the plane was slamming into a concrete wall every few seconds. Seated in front of me was a very elegant and expensively dressed lady. I watched the elegance disappear at an alarming speed, and soon she headed for the lav. On final approach an FA resorted to banging on the locked lav door in an attempt to get her out. Last I saw of the unfortunate lady she was lying like a rag in a seat on row one, more dead than alive, the FA trying to pour some water down her throat.
Turbulence sucks.
