I think the opposite. In normal times, I usually don't care if staff enters my room while I'm gone. During Covid, though, I don't want anyone in my room so as to keep the air there as safe as possible.
That's my point. The same way you may be wary of others entering your room for health reasons, the same is from the property's perspective to protect its employees. I used to have to make a point for no housekeeping; nowadays, no housekeeping detected even after a week of stay without any intervention.
