Not officially but I rarely if ever stay at the standard suite when booking a paid stay at said suite. Even when booking a standard room I most often end up in premium suites, not their entry level one.

Why not book a base room and upgrade to a premium suite with points (or book the premium suite on points right away)? Is said suite really that much better at the hotel where you're looking to stay?
