I'm staying at the Renaissance Downtown Dubai over New Years Eve in a "Club King Burj Khalifa City view" room. I seem to have got the last one of these as this room type was no longer available after I booked mine.

Curious if others think this room is sufficient for getting a view of the Burj Khalifa fireworks at midnight? Does the lounge offer better views (if any at all) or should I try to go for one of the restaurants in the hotel? I know it is a little far away location-wise but I want to avoid being in a crowded area and this was a last minute booking so would be OK with a half decent view from the room.

I'm a lowly Marriott Gold so not expecting any amazing upgrades, but will try asking for a higher floor at least...
