So its difficult to get award seats then?
I think not!
2 Reward seats via OneWorld alliance for Concorde on 19th Dec and 2 OneWorld reward for 22nd Dec. There was even another FT'er on the outbound Concorde flight that had 2 reward seats.
Absolutely stunning service by BA on both my outbound Concorde flight, and my return First flight. Staff on both flights were superb and attentive; to be truthful, I preferred the flight back in First compared to the Concorde flight. I think we classify the passengers on Concorde as one of wo:-
a) People who need to get there fast
b) People who want to say they've been on Concorde.
I'm a b, I've done Concorde now, and would fly First in the future.
The trip was a 21st birthday gift for my brother, and he was absolutely blown away by the quality of the product and service in BA First. He has flown Economy on many airlines before, and Virgin Premium and Upper Class, and he now wants to know when his next flight in First is !!!
The Terraces lounges are fabulous, Virgin are no longer the best with the lounges. Only thing that I could improve would be to offer a hairdresser service and maybe a shoe-shine service. The arrivals lounge at LHR was nice, and good choice of food.
Now whats the quickest way to get to BA Silver? I know BA couldn't care less about my Gold Virgin Atlantic status.
Thanks,
Richard
