I think we are getting off-topic and going in a whole different direction

I guess it’s about perspective, sometimes one's understanding of another is foreign and simply complex for a variety of reasons. Someone from Old South Ottawa or Rockcliffe Park may not understand or relate the same as someone from Vanier or Wakley who both experience the same event. The same can be said from someone who lives in Bayview may not relate to someone who lives in Forest Lawn in Calgary facing the exact same experience.

We all have unconscious biases and strongly held beliefs that can blind us when challenged with an opposing position. I enjoy flying, not an industry expert, just a guy who enjoys the simple pleasures of flying and looks at the entire experience as something that should be enjoyed leaving you with the desire for more. Corporations spend fortunes to try and understand what consumers want, and consumers are always changing what they think they want.

Covid has changed people in ways they may not understand as of yet. Covid has also changed how we do things and perhaps this is on me, on how I feel things should be when others are doing things differently already, I agree some fares may be cheap now, but the experience is not there and as a proud Canadian, I have been and experienced most of this great Country of ours, coast to coast to coast and all in between. So much of the world I want to still experience and don’t get me started on the lack of being able to support the Jays at the old ballpark.
