I don't fly to Asia that often, but I've had real luck when I've paid for it. This is ex-UK, but I got LHR-SVO-DEL r/t for £230 (US$415) and LHR-KUL r/t for £280 (US$500). I don't know if it's just that I've been lucky, or whether LON is especially good for these prices...
