New Earnings Table for International Aegean Flights as of 30/12/2020.

Merry Christmas everyone!

It seems Aegean is making a habit out of changing the earnings table every 3 months or so...
I though about updating the existing thread, but since that one already has received many replies I believe it would have become confusing and difficult to get the correct information a.s.a.p.

I used some of my spare time today in the early hours and browsed for some tickets on my "usual" routes for mid-2021.
I then noticed, that the amount of miles the website was displaying was slightly different than the sums I remembered getting from my previous searches/bookings.

https://en.aegeanair.com/milesandbon...rlines/aegean/
Aegean added a new table for "bookings and rebookings as of 30.12.2020" for international flights, which (caution!) seems to translate into "for flights as of 30.12.2020", since even if you book a December 31st flight today you will still apparently get the miles according to the "as of 30.12.2020" table!

Here's a summary of the new earnings...

And here's the current table for comparison.

Now, according to these tables, all but the cheapest fares lose earnings in the "light" category and everything else stays the same... Short comment: I find the slashing of the most expensive "light" fares completely unjustified, since those are tickets that cost way too much money for what they offer, I was much more understanding when they completely destroyed the earnings of the UPT fares from 75% to just 30%, because those P fares are basically almost "giveaway" tickets.

However:
After performing multiple searches for flights after December 30th and comparing those to a couple of searches for flights on the exact same routing before December 30th I do notice some "glitches" (or irregularities, if you will)...
I have verified that the miles shown by the calculator are exactly the miles shown on the actual booking page right now! I'm posting the calculator results here because it is more compact than posting screenshots of the actual booking page (where I'd have to post about a dozen of them to demonstrate the full differences).

Business Class prior December 30th 2020

Business Class post December 30th 2020

Comfort Flex prior December 30th 2020

Comfort Flex post December 30th 2020

So there are clearly small differences to the earnings of all business and all but the cheapest Comfort Flex fares to the benefit of the customer! Those 200% values now seem to be around 210%, the 130% are closer to 136% and the 250% business class factor now reaches (wait for it :P) 262%!
This is in all 3 cases exactly or almost exactly 5% more compared to the values prior Dec. 30th, but I have no idea if this is intended or a glitch and if it will remain so regardless of the reason or not.
