I’ve typically put between 30-50 k spend on this card as I’m not a road warrior(is that ever going to be a thing again) but mostly looking to stay at Hyatt’s and love the perks of Globalist. What I’m unable to confirm searching the blogs and calling their reps is if it’s a calendar year this is based on.

Since my statement end date is the 23rd, and I want to spend to get 50 nights this year for the suite upgrades, will my spending between now and Dec 31st count towards 2020 or 2021. I looked at last year and I didn’t spend during that period so the $5k I spent in that dec23 to Jan 23 period was 2020 earnings obviously but what if I’d spent $5k on Dec 30, 2019? Would I have earned 2 nights for that in 2019 and 2 nights in 2020 on or just after Jan 23?
