This might be a question better suited to the British Airways forum but for outstations like Punta Cana , the outbound flight from LGW would form the return flight.

BA.Com is not showing any information on the Saturday flight but is showing 2 BA 2204s on Sunday ( 1 of which is cancelled).

You may want to contact BA .
