Hi all - first time poster here but have found the info here really useful over the past year so many thanks all!
I have a query that I'm sure will have been answered and I have had a quick scan but can't find the exact same circumstances.
Like many on here I have taken a number of FTV vouchers over the past months that I just keep shunting forward. As most of these are for use over long weekends and mainly short haul I'm not too worried about them as will squeeze in at some point before April 22 (hopefully). However I had a booking with BA Holidays for a trip to Japan and South Korea in August and was happy to take a voucher and just rebooked for Japan for August 21 (paying an approx £500 cash deposit and the rest on the voucher).
This has now been cancelled by BA and to be fair they offered a refund as an alternative but the confirmation email shows they refunded the deposit only and kept the voucher amount as a voucher.
Am I right that this cancellation should allow me a full refund of deposit plus the voucher amount or am I locked in to having to accept the voucher despite this being a cancellation on a different booking?
Thanks in advance!
