To supplement this - check with the GA and see how your baggage will be transported. While the right way is you travel with the baggage (i.e. PPBM), DL can in fact transport the baggage on its own metal all the way.

Also - keep in mind, even you are a PM, other airlines may have issues with your baggage by the extra elite portion. So pack accordingly.
