Not to be a pessimist, but I wouldn't get too excited about this. The catering company will provide what the airline asks for, at an agreed price. I think the specs will be pretty low.
But hey, they've served zilch for a while now, so anything will be an improvement over biscoffs and cheese crackers.
I'll be interested if the spirits offerings change as well.
Beer/Wine/Spirits/other beverages as well as shelf stable foods (packaged snacks etc.) are usually procured by the airline separately (then distributed to the various catering stations) - catering just loads them in the trolleys. I'm sure there are stations or circumstances where this isn't the case though
