Looking for fares to Asia (SIN or BKK, etc) in mid December but all flights ORD-NRT, JFK-NRT, DFW-NRT are close to sold out and only $3500 fares are available (Y one way, M the other way in January). This has never happened before in the past 3-4 years, anybody has any idea why the transpacific flights are filling up so quickly this year?
