The flight was JER-LHR. I actually managed to get through to the call center, and she suggested that we cancel the first leg, book flights and taxi, and then submit receipts after to get refunded. It would be much better for me if they would rebook onto the Blue Islands flight to Southampton, and arrange the transfer to LHR. Mainly so that if something does get cancelled, we're not stuck between two airports.

Is there any magic keywords I can use to make them make the booking?
