Does the US or Mexico consisder packaged coffee 'agricultural items' for customs?

I'm visiting Mexico and I was thinking of bringing my own coffee with me. It's roasted and packaged, and I was wondering if Mexico customs will have an issue? If there's any remaining coffee would the USA care on my return? Do either consider it 'agricultural items', which may cause extra scrutiny?
