Amex sent me a 3.9% for life offer on my Platinum Delta Skymiles Amex. I transferred $15,000 in debt I had on a line of credit at 10% and put the card away. Now I have a miles card charging $75.00 membership fee mol and 600 interest on what I was previously paying $1500 interest per year. True if I charge anything on this card it ends up with a double digit rate. So like the previous poster said use your brain and you can get good deals with these cards.

My favorite deal is still the 0% for life discover deal that requires 2 charges per month. Every month I roll into the gas station to charge 1 cent in gas (pay at the pump) then I do it again and leave saving $50 in interest for each monthly stop.
