My usual guide for Metro news is urbanrail.net. Not being too familiar with the DMK area, given that the Sukhumvit line was very recently extended to that airport's posterior, would Bangkok residents say that happened first because the taxi mafia is powerful, or because airport traffic was diminished this year (or simply, the BTS just isn't THERE yet)?

Unrelated question about the DMK area-- there's a trippy building just to the north of it, roughly along short final (approach). It looks like a square with one temple directly in the center; anyone know what it is?
