I showed Frontier my Silver Medallion status on Delta, paid the $49 fee and was status-matched to Elite. Two weeks later I qualified for Gold Medallion on Delta but Frontier would not further upgrade me unless I paid that $349 offer. No thanks. To be fair, I just flew Orlando to Cleveland and back on Frontier for $10.10 each way and was able to snag front seats both ways. The negative about being in the front row at the bulkhead is the bins directly above are for crew only which forces you to put your carry-on and personal item above row 2 which means you have to swim upstream to get the stuff when you land.
